Hi Gary! I was at your show last night at Oxford Hall. You were just awesome, it's such a pleasure to get to watch you play. Thank you so much for playing a little JT for me. No one can cover James Taylor or Neil Young as well as you... except for maybe JT or NY ;o) Loved your new song too, can't wait to hear what you decide to call it. Take care, hope to see more of your shows in the future.

Hi Gary,
Don't know if you remember me or not, but I was once married to Joe Dostal and for a time we were all roommates in a small trailer in LaPorte Texas. It was about 3 life times ago. Joe told me about your music success and your website. He also mentioned you and he were playing some together again. I'm glad to hear you two have touched base again.
I hope your life is good and how you invisioned it years ago. My life is very good and nothing like what I invisioned.
Best of luck to you in your music career.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? This man is IT around these parts as far as I'm concerned. 'Nuff said! Was at the Hops House hosting an open mic with Willie and Jeff. Willie said 'ya gotta check this guy out. He started playing standard stuff. I turned to Willie with a puzzled look, Willie said just wait, go get a seat up front you don't want to miss this guy. So I did and I was blown away. Immediatly I recignized the Preston Reed song, after that, it was all new. Thank God I left my acustics at home. Went home with the tuning Gary and tried it with some success. However, I would have to cut my fingernails too short and wait for them to grow back to do my chicken pickin'.

Gary,
I really enjoyed your playing the other night at JP Hops House. You really have the Preston Reed thing down pat.
Let's keep in touch. We fingerstyle guitarists should keep in fellowship. I hope you can make it to one of my performances soon so you can see my style of playing and listen to my compositions. Also, you are welcome to perform at my regular shows anytime; just let me know.
Take care,
Robert

I met you last night(Sun) at JP Hops house....that was great stuff...stay in touch about maybe doing something in May at Kay's Lounge....Bissonnet and Greenbriar....I am going to have 4-5 artists by invitation only...not a true open mic...but it would be a good contact for the university crowd....it will be on Wed nights...Chester

Hey, Gary! Joe sent me this web address. You haven't changed (much). So exciting to see that you're involved in music, too. I have my Bachelor's & Master's in music and am currently teaching private voice & Piano, as well as working for the schools as an accompanist and vocal coach. Done some performing, but mostly getting others ready for it!

Hi Gary,
I just found your web and my first intro to your music. Of course I played guitar with you back in 1969 in London but it was different then! It sounds better now!

Gary,
We really had a great evening seeing you play at Zebo's! It was as amazing watching you play as it was listening. You also have a wonderful voice. Not many people can pull off Neil Young but we have to hand it to you, you were great! Hope to see you again soon!

Gary,
You're one of the greatest guitarist's I've had the opportunity to work with. Your music is creative and insightful. Look forward to many more gigs in the future!
